Our fully qualified cosmetic surgery nurses are specially selected for their expertise and approachability as well as for their friendliness
If you are considering cosmetic surgery, we recognise that it is one of the most important, exciting yet nerve-racking decisions you are ever likely to make, therefore, you need to be certain it’s right for you.
We are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week to discuss your decision
Initially you will have a detailed consultation with a cosmetic nurse counsellor to discuss the different types of procedure options available to you. Your nurse counsellor will take the time to listen to all of your needs and together will discuss the preparation for surgery.
We listen to you and will answer all of your questions about cosmetic surgery, so you can make an informed decision.
Write down a list of questions before the day of the consultation. Below is an example of some of the questions our patients ask us:-
How long does the treatment take?
What type of care will I need after treatment?
Will I need pain relief following treatment?
Will I have swelling or bruising and can these be treated?
Will I need to wear a supportive garment?
Are there any concerns with medications/vitamins/supplements I am taking?
Your plastic surgeon will advise you about your chosen surgery and discuss your medical history (when you are to discontinue or resume activities like smoking, or taking aspirin or any other medication). They will ensure that you are medically fit for the procedure.
Your Profile Perfection nurse counselor will be available at all times to answer any questions you have post consultation with the plastic surgeon.
The surgery plan will be made between you and your plastic surgeon. The final decision whether to have the surgery is always yours and should not be made in a rush. Contact with your Nurse Counselor at Profile Perfection is vital through these stages of decision making.
At Profile Perfection, we will support you and your decision, guiding you from the initial consultation all the way through to recovery.
